Basically it is beautiful but not for me, I really don't love the impressive incense opening. Althought I really have to agree, it's advanced and magical, smells like African Savanna inside here of a bottle, quite earthly.
A gorgeous and inspiring fragrance!I find the notes of vetiver, incense ,myrrh and spices to get one of the most notable. It is actually exotic and at the same time exquisite in an ecu way. It jogs my memory of Sycomore by Chanel but it's additional spicy and much better, Encre Noire by Lalique but it is a lot less bitter and much more exquisite, of Terre d'Hermes but considerably less piny,and of a few fragrances of comme de garcons but this 1 smells extra organic. Additionally, it reminds of a lot of the most effective classy male fragrances of your 80's but softer. Bravo!
For any person reading through this wanting to purchase Timbuktu, be warned the new formulation With all the new label without the tiny tree on it'll odor in another way compared to the more mature or "classic things", instead of in a very good or superior way.
